Director of Growth Marketing
About Procurated:
We build technology to empower public sector purchasers and suppliers by improving the efficiency of the government procurement process. Procurated enables public sector purchasers to review the suppliers they work with, helping other procurement professionals to make informed decisions as they select their next supplier. We also work with government suppliers, helping them to understand the needs of the public sector and improve their performance. In serving two sides of the marketplace, we simplify and streamline the procurement process.
The Role
The Director of Growth Marketing will play a critical role in driving rapid awareness, adoption and engagement with Procurated and our product among both audiences of our two-sided marketplace, the government purchasing community and the supplier community.
This position reports to the Head of Marketing and will collaborate closely with Content Marketing to leverage the right content and right messaging along the buyer’s journey and work cross-functionally with Sales, Community Engagement, Data and Product Management to design and implement data-driven growth initiatives. You will consistently monitor and analyze our growth channels and develop insightful findings to further take action and experiment with. Success in this role requires enthusiasm for pulling multiple levers, rapidly learning from each experiment, and using those learnings to drive engagement at scale with a) our government user base so they can make well-informed decisions on multi-million-dollar contracts and b) suppliers who can access a range of subscription offerings helping them grow their business in the government and education space.
You have experience managing performance marketing strategies and tactics and can develop strategies to drive new customer acquisition and retention. You’ve established a demand generation and customer acquisition discipline in your prior roles, and you understand how to build a scaled model using LTV/CAC as a guiding metric.
In this role you will:
- Develop a growth marketing strategy that’s attuned to our GTM motions and align to our goals around awareness, adoption and retention among the government procurement community and customer acquisition and expansion of our supplier subscription-based products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on campaign and content ideas for various stages across the customer lifecycle.
- Plan, implement and execute digital marketing campaigns through multiple channels (including paid and organic channels, social, email marketing, and other approaches appropriate to our target audience), driving engagement and generating new signups, MQLs, and pipeline.
- Test, analyze, and improve our various conversion points in the marketing funnel to optimize performance and inform decisions to invest and scale tactics and channels where we see success.
- Monitor all campaign metrics and results (signups, ARR, conversion rates, CAC, LTV) and report on findings as well as recommended actions.
About You:
- You can point to specific examples in your work experience and provide quantifiable results where you’ve successfully grown demand, acquisition and conversion at each stage of the customer journey and ideally have experience working in a fast-paced growth SaaS environment.
- You love coming up with creative ways to solve a problem and developing experiments to test, learn and iterate quickly.
- You apply analytical rigor across the entire funnel. You can measure performance across the entire customer journey and use data to guide decision-making.
- You stay up-to-date on emerging marketing channels and trends and can develop innovative, outside the box growth solutions.
- You have the ability to prioritize and demonstrate relentless discipline in achieving goals.
- You are eager to roll up your sleeves. Your role doesn’t stop at strategy – you’ll be developing campaign ideas, executing on the ideas, and analyzing the results. You aren’t afraid to dive in and help us solve other business problems as needed.
- You’re a hard-working, extremely organized self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects at the same time in a fast-paced environment.
- You have solid experience and comfort level with digital marketing channels, marketing automation and CRM platforms, ideally Google AdWords, LinkedIn and Hubspot.
- You are passionate about the role you’ll play in making fundamental and positive change in a massive industry.
