Community Engagement Manager

We build technology to empower public-sector purchasers and suppliers by improving the efficiency of the government procurement process. Procurated allows public-sector purchasers to review the suppliers they work with, helping other procurement professionals make informed decisions as they select their next supplier. We also work with government suppliers, helping them understand the needs of the public sector and improve their performance. In serving two sides of the marketplace, we simplify and streamline the procurement process.
What is the role?
Community Engagement Manager
We’re a lean team, so we’re looking for someone who is results driven and enjoys working independently. You’ll be serving as one of the faces of our company both online and in person, this will include:

  • Onboarding new public sector partner organizations and strategically gaining adoption of Procurated among the members of those organizations.
  • Building the trust of the procurement community and collect reviews for our online platform through emails, webinars, and phone calls.
  • Developing and managing an outreach plan to strategically reach and engage members of the partner organizations and then execute it.
  • Introducing the Procurated platform to any or all levels of Procurement professionals in large and small public sector organizations.
  • Educating community users about the benefits of Procurated via phone calls, emails and webinars.
  • Managing an outreach pipeline of current and prospective public sector partners.
  • Working closely with teammates across the company to find the best ways to support and celebrate the most active Procurated community users.
  • Gathering testimonials and success stories from the Community users.
  • Traveling (overnight) approximately twice a month, for which you will have advance notice.

What is the hiring process?
Our hiring team reviews all applications, and the community team is involved from the start. We generally conduct our conversations via Zoom but can adjust the process as necessary to accommodate candidates’ needs.

  • Initial Screen: You’ll have a relaxed initial conversation with a member of the hiring team and tell us a bit about yourself, as well as learning more about Procurated and the particulars of the role.
  • Team Interview: You’ll chat with members of our team who are on, or work closely with the Community Team. We’ll go through your resume and background. We will ask for relevant examples from your past experience and learn about what you want to do in the future. This conversation will give you the opportunity to meet some of our Procurated teammates and get a feel for how we all work together.
  • Final Interview and Presentation: This interview will be with members of our leadership team and will be your opportunity to learn more about the high-level vision at the company and your contribution to it. This conversation will include a presentation for which we will give you the prompt in advance to give you sufficient time to prepare and impress us!
